Alliances in Battle Of World: How to Choose, Run and Leave One
Eras are won by alliances, not by lone rulers. The alliance you pick will decide who protects you, who you fight, and whether you are holding relics when the era ends.
Joining or founding one
You can join an alliance that is open to applications, accept an invitation, or found your own and invite others. Every alliance has a leader, and members can vote to change who leads.
What allies do for each other
- Shared radar: see what your allies can see.
- Resources: send metal and oil to an ally who needs them. New members wait a while after joining before they can send.
- Defence: park your squads at an ally's colony or outpost to help defend it.
- Relics: the race for all ten relics is an alliance effort.
Choosing well
Look for an active leader, members near you on the map, and an alliance big enough to defend itself but not so crowded that nobody notices you. Ask what they expect: some alliances want every member on the front line, others want builders and scouts.
Leaving, or being removed
If you leave an alliance, your squads parked at former allies' sites come home, and their squads parked at yours go home too. If you are removed by the leader, squads stay where they are. After leaving, you have to wait before joining another alliance, so do not leave on a whim.
